The "Red Party Flag · Green Mines" First May Labor Competition in the Indonesia Region of Sinoma Xi'an Concludes Successfully

On April 28, with the strong support of the company's Party Committee and Trade Union, the first May Day Labor Skills Competition themed "Red Party Flag, Green Mine" for the Indonesian region of Sinoma Xi'an was launched at the Biomas Project Department. To the stirring opening music, 11 technical backbone members from the Biomas and Morowali projects participated in the competition, while an audience of 58 Chinese and Indonesian employees cheered loudly below the stage. Li Xiaowei, Project Manager of Suzhou Sinoma Morowali, Ma Xiaoping, Regional Manager of Sinoma Xi'an, and relevant leaders from Indonesia's MBN Company and Deze Company jointly witnessed the event.
In his opening speech, Ma Xiaoping emphasized: "This is a crucial attempt by us to establish a skills exchange platform overseas, integrating Chinese standards with localized expertise through mentor-apprentice pairings and skill exchanges." As the company's first comprehensive labor competition held abroad, this event brought together technical elites from the Biomas and Morowali project departments. Through four major tracks—"mentor-apprentice pairings, skill competitions, safety demonstrations, and innovative practices"—it promotes the spirit of model workers and craftsmen while cultivating and selecting outstanding skilled talent.
This competition features three major events: shovel loading machinery operation, heavy transportation scheduling, and flat welding. Eleven Chinese and Indonesian athletes from both events compete on the same stage. The judging panel, composed of Tian Fuyou, Deputy Manager of Morowali Project, and Zhu Qingxin, Deputy Manager of Biomas Project, strictly adheres to equipment calibration and site acceptance standards. In the welding competition unit, the Biomas project team led by Mardiansyah Ngaren won the championship with seamless welding technology, while the Morowali team took on the double crown of shovel loading and transportation projects.
During the event, there were many highlights. Chinese and Indonesian employees jointly presented cheerleading "Come on, Amigo", vividly demonstrating the connotation of "the Belt and Road" cultural exchanges; In the tug of war friendly match after the game, Biomas team and Morowali team showed friendship and elegance, and ultimately won 2-1.
In his concluding speech, Li Xiaowei emphasized that "the holding of this labor competition is an important measure to promote mutual communication among employees and improve their skills. It is also a good opportunity for everyone to train and compete in skills, creating a good atmosphere of competition and striving for excellence. This competition is not only a skills competition, but also establishes a long-term mechanism for cross-border skills exchange. After the competition, the Indonesian region will jointly develop the "Chinese Indonesian Bilingual Operation Manual" and simultaneously launch the "Master Apprentice Pairing" plan to further enhance the practical skills of employees in various positions.
Labor builds dreams, skills strengthen enterprises. In the future, the Indonesian regional project team will continue to deepen the purpose of "promoting learning and construction through competition" through regular technical seminars and competitions, continuously improve the skills of employees, promote cultural exchange and integration, better serve and guarantee project construction, and contribute to the high-quality development of the company.
