Mining Green" Indonesian region of Sinoma Xi'an was held at the Biomas project department. The theme of this event is "safety", with four major projects including safety inspection challenges, fire emergency drills, tug of war competitions, and safety knowledge competitions. Four teams from the Biomas and Morowali projects (shovel loading, transportation, machine repair, and crushing) competed on the same stage, with mixed teams of Chinese and Indonesian employees working together. Applause and cheers echoed on site, demonstrating a strong atmosphere of "skill advancement and safety protection".
Zhao Xinqiao, the representative of the owners of Deze Company, pointed out in his speech: "Safety is the cornerstone of enterprise development, and close cooperation between Chinese and Indonesian employees is an important guarantee for project success. We hope that everyone can integrate safety awareness into every aspect of work, learn from each other and improve together in competitions.
The principle of "safety first" runs through the entire competition. The safety notice for labor competition was read out on site, and the referee representative took an oath to ensure fairness and impartiality. The security knowledge competition is completed online in advance, with 100 multiple-choice questions limited to 45 minutes and automatically graded by the system. It is worth mentioning that the competition attracted all Chinese and Indonesian employees to participate, and Indonesian participants performed outstandingly in terms of answering speed and accuracy, fully reflecting the solid effectiveness of daily safety training.
In the on-site competition, the safety inspection challenge requires each team of 3 people to identify unsafe states and behaviors within the simulated area within 60 minutes. Chinese and Indonesian athletes collaborate and divide tasks, with one person recording, one person investigating, and one person reviewing, working together seamlessly. The key focus of the fire emergency drill is to examine response speed and the proper use of fire extinguishers. Participants correct each other's operating postures before the competition and actively exchange their experiences in fire extinguisher inspections after the competition. The tug of war competition adopts a mixed team of 10 people from China and Indonesia, with a best of three system. The shouting and cheering on sounds interweave on the field, pushing the atmosphere to a climax.
After fierce competition, in the safety knowledge competition, Morowali project employee Rahmat Nudin won first place with 98 points, while Biomas project employees Choirul Maasiydi (94 points) and Hendra Wijaya (92 points) won second and third place respectively. In terms of on-site competitions, the transportation team won the championship awards in the safety inspection challenge and fire emergency drill with the first place after a comprehensive score evaluation of two competitions. The team is composed of Chinese and Indonesian employees, who use their spare time to teach and simulate each other before the competition, fully interpreting the connotation of "skill advancement".
This labor competition not only tested the safety skills and teamwork abilities of Chinese and Indonesian employees, but also deepened cultural integration and technical mutual trust through mixed team formation, bilingual safety tips, post competition mutual evaluation, and other aspects. The theme of skill advancement, safety protection, and cultural coexistence will remain in the hearts of every employee for a long time.
The Indonesian regional project team stated that they will continue to carry out normalized activities of "promoting learning and safety through competition", improve bilingual safety operation manuals, and promote the training of overseas project safety production and localized talents to a new level.
